Michigan Townships Association Endorses Sam Singh for State Representative in 69th District

East Lansing, MI—The Michigan Townships Association Political Action Committee (MTA-PAC) announced its endorsement of Sam Singh for State Representative in the November general election for the 69th District.

MTA-PAC’s endorsement was based primarily on Singh’s responsiveness to township issues and input from township officials in the 69th House District. With over half of Michigan’s citizens residing in townships, the Michigan Townships Association (MTA) believes residents will benefit from the efforts from candidates, like Singh, who understand how local communities are impacted by legislation.

The MTA Board of Directors established the MTA-PAC in 1982 to participate in elections for the Michigan House and Senate. The committee represents more than 99 percent of Michigan’s 1,240 townships and over 6,500 township officials.

“Understanding the importance of communication between all levels of government is key to moving Michigan forward, and I am honored to receive support from an organization that recognizes that,” said Singh. “If elected, I will stay committed to working together with townships and local elected officials to build stronger communities.”
