East Lansing– Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan (PPAM) announced their endorsement of Sam Singh, the former Mayor of East Lansing and Democratic candidate for State Representative in the 69th House District.
In their endorsement PPAM stated, “In Michigan’s current political climate it is critical we elect candidates to the legislature that will support our mission. We believe that Sam Singh will be a strong advocate for women and families in the Michigan House of Representatives. He values the commitment to increasing access to basic healthcare services, creating comprehensive sexual education programs in our public schools, and continuing the fight to protect a woman’s right to reproductive choice”.
Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan works to support candidates that are committed to protecting women’s health and reproductive choice. Throughout this election cycle, Singh has continuously expressed his concerns regarding the legislature’s attacks on women’s health and understands that in order to move Michigan forward, we must invest in women and families.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement from Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan. The current legislative attacks on women’s health are moving Michigan backwards,” said Singh. “If elected, I will work to implement policies that protect the health and well being of Michigan women and families.”
